Welcome to Needham’s Courier (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By using our services, you (“Customer”, “you”, “your”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Needham’s Courier provides package forwarding, air and sea freight, customs clearance, and delivery services across Jamaica, which may include package consolidation, insurance options, online tracking, and home/office delivery. Customers are responsible for providing accurate information including name, address, and contact details, and must ensure that items shipped comply with Jamaican Customs regulations and are not restricted or prohibited. All declared values must be truthful, and fraudulent declarations may result in seizure, fines, or cancellation of service. Prohibited items include but are not limited to illegal drugs, firearms, ammunition, explosives, hazardous materials, corrosives, flammable goods, perishable items (unless pre-approved), counterfeit goods, stolen items, or materials infringing intellectual property, and any item prohibited by Jamaican law or international air transport regulations. Shipping rates are charged at a flat rate of JMD $650 per pound for air freight. Sea freight is billed by cubic foot at JMD $1,200–$1,500 depending on the type of goods. Oversized packages may be subject to custom quotes. Each shipment carries a mandatory handling fee of JMD $500 per package to cover administration and customs documentation. Optional insurance is available at two percent (2%) of the declared value or JMD $150 per pound. Customs duties, taxes, and government fees are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated, and all charges must be paid before delivery. Standard air delivery timeframe is 2–5 business days after arrival in Jamaica, subject to customs clearance. Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to weather, customs delays, or unforeseen events, and Needham’s Courier is not liable for delays outside of its control. Customers may store packages at our facility free of charge for the first Ten(10) calendar days after arrival. Beginning on the eleventh (11th) day, a storage fee of JMD $100 per day will be applied to each package until collected or delivered. If a package remains uncollected after thirty (30) days, it will be considered abandoned and may be disposed of or returned at the Company’s discretion, with the customer remaining liable for all accrued charges. Without optional insurance, our liability for lost or damaged items is limited to the minimum value allowed under Jamaican law, and we are not responsible for damage caused by improper packaging, prohibited items, or manufacturer defects. Customers can track packages online using their unique tracking number, and customer support is available via email, phone, or WhatsApp during business hours. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service for customers who violate these Terms. Needham’s Courier reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time, and updates will be posted on our website; continued use of services constitutes acceptance of any changes. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Jamaica, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Jamaican courts.
